ALG Vacations Shows Amplified Appreciation to Travel Advisors

Throughout May during Travel Advisor Appreciation Month, ALG Vacations® shows appreciation to its travel advisor partners with “amplified gratitude”.

The brand’s Travel Advisor Appreciation Month program includes several elements: giveaways, contests to earn prizes and points, an educational content series, professional development resources, lead generation initiatives and a special sale.

ALG Vacations created the program to celebrate and appreciate travel advisors. As part of the brand’s “Ask A Travel Advisor” awareness campaign, which lasts one year, one month is dedicated to travel advisors. It’s how the company gives back and it’s been designed to help advisors understand all the tools the brand has in place to help them build their business.

First, through the “New For You Giveaway”, each time Travel Advisors book an ALG vacation throughout May, they are entered to win one of twelve 3-4 nights in newly opened luxury hotels and resorts. Through the “New to You and Local Traditions Gift Basket” program, Advisors can win one of 14 gift sets chosen from some of the brand’s favorite destinations. The artfully and authentically designed gift baskets were created by the ALG Vacations partners who call these locations home and reflect local tradition. Advisors have three ways to enter to win when they book with ALG Vacations this month: 1) Get Basic Entry with any Agent-level booking, 2) Get Bonus Entry by adding Travel Protection Plus; and 3) Add an Amstar transfer for another bonus entry. The winners will be announced on July 1.

The brand also offers its “Insider Confidential” series of insider tips straight from hotels to help advisors build their expertise and give them an edge when selling certain properties. Additionally, professional development resources are available, such as marketing toolkits in ALGV360° and TravelBlogue stories from other advisors.

The “Good Advice, Fair Price” element of the program was designed to help Advisors achieve more sales with special offers, such as savings of up to $250, free nights and special bonus commissions.

Finally, the year-long “Ask a Travel Counselor” campaign aims to generate interest in working with a travel counselor at a time when travelers need it most, as well as generate leads for travel counselors. . To this end, ALG Vacations launched a media blitz; setting up a website where consumers can connect to premium advisors; and has a Facebook page where advisors can chat with potential clients.
