Disney replaces destroyed gifts family lost on vacation

Sometimes we think that Disney magic can only exist within Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, or in the movies, but it doesn’t.

Last week, KTSM, a Texas-based television news channel, reported the story of a family who vacationed at Disneyland Resort. After doing their Christmas shopping and returning home, they were shocked to learn that their luggage fell from a Southwest Airline cart onto the tarmac and was crushed.

As a result, all merchandise purchased from the parks was lost.

But, the story did not end there.

KTSM recently released a story update and the family shared that a Walt Disney Company representative contacted them after hearing the report and promised to replace the damaged merchandise, pack it up, and ship it. prepare by Christmas.

The report reads as follows:

On Thursday, we first shared the story of a family, whose Christmas was seemingly spoiled after their Disney memories were destroyed when the luggage they were in fell from a Southwest Airline cart on the tarmac and were run over.

Some time after our story aired, Disney officials were alerted to the situation and quickly stepped in to help. The family tell us that a Disney store manager in the park contacted them and told them that any gifts purchased in the park would be replaced, wrapped and ready on Christmas morning.

On Friday morning, a “Care Package”, offered by the Disney Store in the Outlet Shoppes of El Paso, showed up at their doorstep, to keep Kaila and her parents until the replacement gifts arrive on the day. of Christmas.

Kaila’s dad said he was eternally grateful and more than happy that his daughter’s Christmas was saved: “I cannot express my gratitude in words, I was speechless. I didn’t know what to say, I had tears in my eyes. I can’t believe the kindness and compassion of Disney.

Disney even had a care package offered by the Disney Store from Outlet Shoppes in El Paso delivered to their home on Christmas Eve morning.
