Mandarin Oriental Unveils Exclusive Collection of Private Home Rentals – Robb Report

Looking to take your family or group vacation to the next level this summer? Through a new partnership just announced, Mandarin Oriental has introduced an exclusive portfolio of private villas, mansions and homes that will make your getaways even more escape-worthy.

Working with StayOne, a company which, according to its website, lists the “top 1% of vacation homes” provided by a community of affluent homeowners, the Hong Kong-based hotel chain will offer stays in three countries. The first Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes collection includes properties in France, Spain and the UK, with eight hand-picked homes.

Whether you choose the 660-acre estate in the heart of the Cotswolds or the seaside villas in France, you’ll enjoy the same special benefits at each location. For starters, a dedicated concierge will be on hand 24/7, from your initial reservation through departure, to help with any pre-arrival requests, such as arranging local experiences and transportation. Upon arrival, you’ll find plush bathrobes and durable bamboo toothbrushes in each of the houses, and if you’re traveling with children, you can make requests for child-friendly necessities and experiences. A private in-house chef, approved by the culinary experts of the luxury hotel brand, will also be on hand to create dishes according to your preferences. And with daily cleaning, you won’t have to worry about doing the dishes. All homes will also undergo rigorous health and safety audits by both companies prior to your arrival to ensure hygiene awareness is a priority.

There is no limit to what you could feel. Those looking to visit Ibiza, for example, will have three properties to rent, including the private island of Tagomago, the Palms and Villa Lagarto. The star among the three is, of course, the 148-acre private island that has a single villa; you’ll have the island to yourself, and the villa houses 10 people and is surrounded by a variety of stellar hiking trails and a historic lighthouse. For couples seeking privacy, the Palms might be a better choice as it’s on the island’s quieter southwest coast.
