Two people were taken to hospital after a shooting in what police believe was a drug case went awry on Saturday at an apartment complex in Midwest City. Police said the shooting took place at the Meadowood Village Apartments on Reno Avenue between Sooner Road and Air Depot Boulevard. A victim rushed to a nearby Arby’s before being taken to hospital, police said. Their terms were not disclosed. Police told KOCO 5 that they do not believe there are any other suspects at this time. Investigators interview witnesses and people in the apartments. KOCO 5 will provide more details when they become available.
